The Holy Quran: Sheikh Saud Ash Shuraym
Saud ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Shuraim (Arabic: سعود بن ابراهيم بن محمد الشريم،, born in January 19, 1964) is one of the Imams and khateeb of the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) in Mecca. He holds a doctorate (Ph.d) and is a Professor of Sharia and Islamic studies at the Umm al-Qura University in Mecca, and was as of late selected as a Dean and “Authority Professor in Fiqh” at the University. Shuraim leads the Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan in Mecca since 1991. He is otherwise called a scientist in fiqh, a judge, and a scholar who has formed numerous books on aqeedah, fiqh, and Arabic poetry.
The phrase juz amma refers to the 30th chapter of the Quran, comprising surahs 78-114. Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais an Najdi: He is the Imam of the Grand Mosque in the Islamic Holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. He had memorised the Quran by the age of 12. He was also honoured to lead the funeral prayer for Sheikh Ali jaber.
